91��Ƶ������վ Communications Team Earns Top Statewide Awards

The 91��Ƶ������վ Communications Team brought home a perfect scorecard from the 2025 Iowa School Public Relations Association awards, earning recognition for every entry. That includes eight Awards of Excellence and one Blue and Gold Award, ISPRA’s highest honor.

The Blue and Gold Award was earned for Cultivating Success: A Strategic Plan for 91��Ƶ������վ, a book that outlines Superintendent Dr. Ian Roberts’ vision and top five priorities for the future of Iowa’s largest school district.

“We don’t do this work for awards, but being recognized by our peers in school public relations is a meaningful reminder that good communication matters,” said Phil Roeder, Director of Communications. “At 91��Ƶ������վ, we believe in telling the real stories of public education because our students, staff, and community deserve nothing less.”

These awards reflect the work of a small but mighty team of communicators dedicated to telling the story of 91��Ƶ������վ, our students, our staff, and the community we serve.
